Man Flicks Off Cop To Exercise First Amendment Right, Cop Exercises Right To Pepper Spray The Man’s Eyeballs Out

This seems almost downright impossible to believe, even as you watch it unfold.

Adam Rupeka gave a police officer in Saratoga Springs the finger, which the Supreme Court has ruled U.S. citizens have the right to do.

Most cops probably don’t know that. I was once arrested for saying “Fuck you” to a cop (actually also in Saratoga Springs). I should go get that shit expunged.

But back to this. While Rupeka is asking what he’s being detained for after getting pulled over for the gesture, officer Nathan Baker calmly takes his pepper spray off his belt, shakes it, then sprays it right into Rupeka’s face. While Rupeka is still sitting in his car.

Now that, I know, is not legal. According to WNYT, Baker has been placed on administrative leave pending an investigation.

Rupeka was charged with obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest. He plans to fight the charges, as well as sue the city of Saratoga Springs.

Good for him. Think he might win here.
