Recess is a time for little children to relax and play. It is not a time for an enraged buffalo to run rampant through the schoolyard.
That’s … well … I guess it’s not actually explicitly stated anywhere, so maybe technically this buffalo wasn’t breaking any recess laws, but he was certainly going against the spirit of them.
In a province in Southwest China, a buffalo reportedly got spooked by the honking of car horns (who hasn’t!) and tore through an elementary school. Authorities were able to corral it in a closet where it was shot to death.
