Budweiser’s Puppy Super Bowl Commercial Hits You Right In The Feels

For last year’s Super Bowl Budweiser tugged at your heartstrings with their adorable “Puppy Love” commercial.

The ad did pretty well, winning Ad Meter’s best Super Sunday commercial, while garnering over 55 million YouTube views, plus the tens of millions who watched it during the big game. The beer company attempts to have more success with the same cute and cuddly formula.

Budweiser unveiled this year’s Super Bowl ad that once again features a lovable puppy and a majestic Clydesdale.

The advertisement titled “Lost Dog” features an insanely adorable puppy getting separated from it’s owner and horse friend. The mischievous pup jumps into a horse trailer and accidentally goes for a ride. The young dog begins his trek home and attempt to be reunite with it’s pals as a slowed down acoustic cover of the Proclaimers’ “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles)” playing in the background.

There were actually eight puppies (seven female/one male) used in the Anheuser-Busch ad that was filmed at a ranch outside Santa Barbara, Calif., in early December. All of the dogs were just 11-12 ½ weeks old at the time of the commercial. The seven Budweiser Clydesdales underwent training for three months to prepare for their breakout roles.

And here comes the feels.
