Earlier this week, we got a chance to get some face time with all time NFL bro, Kurt Warner. He’s been out of the game for only a year, but he’s been keeping busy with his family, a spot on Dancing with the Stars, and most recently, a project with Duracell called Power Those Who Protect Us, which aims to donate 10 million batteries to the 23,000 volunteer fire departments around the country. Check out the interview and learn more about the program after the jump:
Here’s more on the program and how you can get involved. Over 70% of firefighters around the country are volunteers and often times, these selfless contributors end up dipping into their own pockets to equip themselves properly, and that includes batteries. Duracell is partnering with the National Volunteer Fire Council so that anytime you buy a pack of specially marked Duracell batteries; Duracell will make a battery donation. If you’d like to direct the donation to your own community, you can just visit Duracell.com or Facebook.com/Duracell to enter your zip code.
