Bro Gets Locked Inside LA Fitness After Chilling In Sauna For Too Long, Does The Opposite Of What You Or I Would Do

Here’s a list of things I would do if I got locked inside LA Fitness:

  • Take advantage of the fact that the place is completely empty and use every goddamn weight machine in the joint
  • …yeah that’s basically it
  • Yo waiting to use weights is annoying don’t judge
  • Forreal though who enjoys standing awkwardly waiting to use the squat rack and then having to re-rack all the weights because the guy using it in tandem with you is a 250 lb. meathead?
  • Leave

Yeah so that list obviously got away from me because upon starting it I realized that I probably wouldn’t steal anything and that once you’re done with your workout the last thing you really wanna do is stay and work out some more. As for Nicholas Clayton, if he got locked inside an LA Fitness past closing time he’d make a video of the experience, post it to YouTube and then…keep living his life, I guess. According to Fox Tampa Bay,

After working out, Clayton went to sit in the sauna inside the men’s locker room. He said he was there for approximately 15 minutes, but when he walked out, everyone was gone. He said no employees checked inside the sauna to make sure it was empty before closing.

“What gym closes at 5 pm? Most people have their headphones on, so they’re not hearing the overhead announcements,” said Clayton.

According to the LA Fitness website, the majority of clubs in Tampa Bay operate on an 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. weekend schedule, with the exception of a select few.

FOX 13 stopped by the LA Fitness where Clayton was locked in, but an employee identified as the head of membership said the company did not want to comment on the incident or standard procedure for closing the business.

Getting locked inside a random business after closing time isn’t really that bad apparently. Eventually Nick managed to get ahold of someone at a neighboring LA Fitness club who was able to tell him how to get out without setting off the alarms, just in time for him to post this video to Facebook/YouTube and…that’s it.

Why was this in the news again? Nicholas seems like a nice guy though. Have fun with the Internet fame!
