Why's that? Well, the college (high school) has produced illustrious alumni such as Prince William and Harry and in the British Empire decorum is first and foremost the order of the day.

Eton is tasked with shaping the minds of young men, and an ephemeral dick pic sent in haste could be what sits between a boy and his rightful place as founding charter member of the East India Trading Company. From the New York Daily News:

School headmaster Tony Little told the Sunday Telegraph that the Wi-Fi ban was to encourage the students, aged between 13 and 18, to use technology responsibly.

“Boys can still use it via the 3G phone network, but we hope that blocking it on our network will at least make them think twice,” he said.

Meanwhile in America, 30 years from now, we will use the penis pics sent by presidential candidates when they were teens to evaluate their leadership abilities. And we will be okay with that.
