Pizza, the greatest food ever created by God and then bestowed upon humans for their delight. Thin crust, thick crust, wood-fired, coal-fired, lots of sauce, a little sauce, no matter how it’s made, pizza is fucking delicious morning, noon or night. Pizza is like sex, even if it’s done bad, we fucking get it, pizza rules! But where can I find the crème de la crème of pizza? Thankfully there’s a top ten list of the greatest pizzerias and best cities for pizza.
TripAdvisor analyzed thousands of reviews written on their travel site from pizza enthusiasts across the United States to find the ten best pizzerias. The rankings were based on quantity and quality of restaurant reviews, with more weight placed on user feedback within the past year. To be considered the restaurants had to have a minimum of 500 reviews, with at least 10 percent of them mentioning “best pizza.”

TripAdvisor also ranked the top cities for pizza goodness. They pored over restaurant reviews in that city and how the critiques compared with all of the other city’s pizzerias.

Here’s what I don’t understand, Chicago has not one top 10 pizzeria, but they’re the top city for pizza? All of their pizzerias get beat out by some pizza joint in Phoenix and one in Alaska. Meanwhile New York City has three pizzerias on the list including the best place in the country for pizza. Getdafuckouttahere!
