Ben & Jerry’s Is Making BEER! It’s Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale And I Crave It More Than Life Itself

After dominating the world of ice cream, Ben & Jerry’s is looking to get into the ever competitive beer market and they’re doing it with such an outlandish flavor combination that’s so Ben & Jerry’s. The frozen confection juggernaut has partnered with New Belgium Brewing to create a whimsical beer called Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale. Salted caramel is so hot right now.

The saccharine-flavored beer will contain 6.3% alcohol and come in 22oz bottles. According to an April 13 press release, the beer will be released in the fall of 2015. No. I want it now daddy!

The best part is that some of the proceeds from the beer will benefit and raise awareness for Protect Our Winters, an organization founded by pro-snowboarder Jeremy Jones that seeks engage and mobilize the winter sports community to lead the fight against climate change and lessen the impact on America’s snow-topped mountains.

Senior Global Marketing Manager of Ben & Jerry’s, Jay Curley, had this to say on their new partners:

“We’re big fans of New Belgium Brewery, their values, and their fun culture, and of course their beer. We’re excited for the campaign we’ve developed together. When two B Corps collaborate our fans can expect something both delicious and impactful.”

Imagine making a beer float by pouring a frosty Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale over Ben & Jerry’s Salted Caramel Core? I’m so moist right now.
