Artist Recreates Iconic Pictures And Logos Using Weed Nugs And I Just Texted My Dealer

If you were questioning whether or not to get high later, your mind will be made up after you’re done scrolling through this post. I could hardly finish it without calling my dealer.

The creator of these masterpieces is Romanian artist Dan Cretu.

He spoke with the Metro and instead of being your typical pompous ‘holier-than-thou’ artist douche, he seems like a down-to-earth dude:

I do not like to talk about what my art projects mean, I prefer others to do it for me. It is not a sign of arrogance, but from experience I noticed that most times people see in my work more than I tried to express.

I know what I’m going to get out of your work. An eighth. God damnit, drug dealer answer my fucking texts for once. You’re about as reliable as a netted condom.

Anyway, Cretu’s art is absolutely fascinating. Scroll through his Instagram if you’re in the market for a new desktop background.

Matt’s love of writing was born during a sixth grade assembly when it was announced that his essay titled “Why Drugs Are Bad” had taken first prize in D.A.R.E.’s grade-wide contest. The anti-drug people gave him a $50 savings bond for his brave contribution to crime-fighting, and upon the bond’s maturity 10 years later, he used it to buy his very first bag of marijuana.
