Here Is A List Of The Apps That Rank The Best And Worst For 2015 At Protecting User Data

Do you ever yearn? I yearn. Oh yes, yes I yearn. Often I sit…and yearn. What I’ve never yearned for, however, is having my entire life stolen online. No matter how different you and I are, I’d be willing to bet we have that in common.

I would rather someone burgle the living fuck out of my home. Like, come in and take literally everything — but don’t be a monster, leave the golf clubs — than have my data compromised online. But that is the world we live in. A world where our data privacy and security is completely out of our control (or at least I think it is) and it can be stolen in seconds without us even knowing.

That is some scary shit.

The good people (guessing) at EFF just released their 2015 list of the best and worst apps for protecting your data. Your precious, precious data. And yes, the photo at the top is because Whatapps is the worst culprit of them all. Shame on you, Whatsapp…For being a whore of an app unable to close its whore legs where all the user data is stored.
