Guy Advertises Apartment For Rent On Craigslist, Forgets To Wear Pants In Photos And Gets Mercilessly Mocked Online

Just for the sake of setting things straight right off the bat, the ad was actually posted on Gumtree – do you know what Gumtree is? Neither do I. Apparently it’s the UK’s version of Craigslist, but instead of confusing the hell outta everyone and making y’all search “Gumtree” on Google before reading through, I just thought I’d make everyone’s life a little bit easier with a little white lie and call it Craigslist in the title instead. Now that we’ve got that sorted out, let’s talk about this guy who forgot to wear his pants in the photo up top.

What, you can’t see him? FINE, I’ll whip out my highly-professional and artisanally-crafted Photoshop skills, gimme a second…

Now if you’ve been using the Internet as long as I have, you’ve seen this sort of thing before, albeit in varying instances: people forgetting their pants in the background of OkCupid photos, forgetting to put away the dildo sitting on their nightstand behind them, etc. So you’d think that either:

A. This guy should know better and is just an idiot

Or,

B. This was intentional so that more people would look at his ad, thereby getting his apartment rented out faster.

I’d like to think it’s B…but I know oh, so so SO many stupid people, so if we’re being honest it’s probably A. Bummer.

According to Daily Mail,

The unfortunate flash has been mocked online, after the ad was exposed to an entirely unintended audience.

‘Can you see what I see?’ one person wrote, after spotting the listing on the online classifieds site, Gumtree.

‘Could I just unsee that?’ another said.

‘That first picture made it pretty clear things were going to get weird,’ someone said.

‘Love the random photo of Southern Cross… ‘Here is the bathroom where I will watch you shower, this is the single bedroom where we will snuggle at night and this is the train station where I will take a vline to the country in order dispose of your dismembered body stuffed in a suitcase when I tire of you. By the way bin night is Thursdays’,’ another person wrote.

No word on whether or not his apartment’s been rented yet, or if it comes with a set of man-thongs thrown in for free in lieu of a security deposit.
