So, you're out of a job, money's tight, and life could be better. Here's something else to add to the misery: In a recent poll, 75 percent of women said they wouldn't date unemployed men.

The grim news was culled from a poll on by the dating site "It's Just Lunch," according to Yahoo News:

Overall, 75 percent of women said they would be unlikely to date an unemployed man, with 33 percent saying no outright. Another 42 percent of women answered maybe when asked about the possibility of dating an unemployed man. That answer, however, came with the stipulation that those women would not want to spend a lot of time in the relationship if the man did not have a plan in place. Just 21 percent of women said they would date an unemployed man.

C'mon girls, give a sympathy lay! Unemployed guys could use it.

(In case you were wondering, no, the men surveyed don't care if women are employed or not—two-thirds of the men surveyed said they "had no problem" with dating unemployed girls.)
