The Electoral College is having a rough century. The past four presidential campaigns have brought suggestions that it’s both outdated and unfair.

One possible solution would be redrawing boundaries to ensure all 50 states have equal population.

Our country would look drastically different.

There are obvious flaws. Existing state laws would conflict and new capitals would be far-removed from constituents to name a few.

On the bright side, there would be some awesome new state names.
