Being stuck in traffic has to be one of the circles of hell, right? You’re in a car, which is capable of going at a high rate of speed and you’re just sitting there, crawling. It’s literally one of the worst things people have to deal with on a daily basis.
But your commute is nothing compared to this RIDICULOUS traffic jam that happened in China. 50 lanes of traffic were snarled to a standstill thanks to, you guessed it, tollbooths.
FIFTY LANES, people. Only in China.
Due to a week-long holiday called Golden Week 750 MILLION people went on vacation (half of China’s population), thus leading to this traffic jam from Hell when everyone attempted to return home on the final day.
So the next time you’re stuck in traffic cursing your life, just give thanks that what you’re going through is nothing like this epic mess.
