19-Year-Old Bro with Brain Cancer Has Epic Bucket List, Just Crossed Off ‘Go to a Topless Bar’

Sometimes you just have to throw on some Tim McGraw to remember how good you have it. Jake Stoneking is a 19-year-old Bro from Oregon. Sadly, he’s been dealt a shit card in life, fighting brain cancer since the age of 14. His cancer returned recently, so there’s a new urgency for him to cross off the items he jotted down on his bucket list, which was recently featured on ABC Nightly News. It’s a bittersweet story in every sense of the word. If you don’t start tearing up when he says “Everyone has a time to go, mine is just a little bit shorter than others,” I question your humanity. That part punched me in a gut and turned on the waterworks.

)

Take a long, hard look at this list.

The very first item caught the attention of the Internet. See the very first thing? It says “Go to Jiggles,” a strip club in his hometown of his hometown of West Linn, Oregon. Here’s what it looks like from the outside:

It’s awesome to see that Jake has crossed off a number of things on his list. Props to whatever bouncer let Jake in Jiggles to grant him his wish. In fact, props to all the people helping Jake out.

Now, Internet Bros everywhere, let’s make sure Jake gets to hunt a black bear, get a tattoo of his last name on his back, and gets to see a UFC fight in person. If anyone knows of a place online where strangers can donate a couple of bucks to Jake to help him live out his bucket list, please e-mail me (brandon [at] brobible.com) or Tweet me about it. I think a lot of the BroBible community would love to help Jake out. We, as a community, need to make sure this Bros dreams come true. Everyone has a time to go, mine is just a little bit shorter than others.”

Sometimes YOLO is just a little too real. Prayers and vibes, Jake. Pullin‘ for you.
