This isn't BRAND NEW UNEARTHED FOOTAGE, but after stumbling across this during the mid-morning hours of this fine Tuesday, I felt that sharing would be a nice,
caring pageview-seeking gesture. Adam Sandler, the 46 year-old actor now best known for starring in throwaway movies that scarily mimic the roles championed by his character in Funny People, was once a burgeoning young standup, funny and talented enough to win over the folks at Saturday Night Live and beyond.
Watching this now, you really see Sandler's promise and potential. Maybe it's one that's now been compromised by big bucks and overused jokes, but seeing it so fresh - and without the swagger that inevitably comes with mega-celebrity - is definitely pretty cool. Dude could tell a joke back in the day.
