Vietnam builds a giant fire breathing dragon to celebrate end of Vietnam War

To celebrate the 38th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang, the Vietnamese government built a giant fire breathing dragon covered in LED lights. Because of course they did.

In other news, I can think of no better way to celebrate the end of a war that featured US soldiers dousing Vietnamese citizens with liquid fire than creating a large mechanized Transformer that spits fire. It’s the exact same reason that I think my Titanic memorial dunk tank will be such a great success at the county fair. (via Gizmodo)
