Not to be out done by ‘Florida Man,’ a woman who works for a Brevard County judge was caught on film slipping her cuffs, stealing back her weed from cops, then eating it.
Tavish Smith was just minding her own Floridian business, driving drunk the WRONG WAY down US 1, crashing it not once, but twice.
After being apprehended by police, Tavish denied any possession of marijuana in direct contrast to the arresting troopers’ account:
“Bags of weed just don’t go missing inside a police car,” said the trooper. “And I’ve got it all on video.”
Smith denied everything and tried to hide what she was doing, but troopers said she had pot on her hands and face, and left crumbs everywhere. Troopers said there was enough evidence left in the bag to test it and prove it was marijuana.”
The video shows Tavish mowing down on the MaryJane she hope to conceal, further exacerbating her already terrible felonious predicament.
Now I actually had no idea that DUI was only a misdemeanor charge in the state of Florida, as is the hit-and-run she was already facing, but immediately after eating the cheebah and subsequently getting caught doing so on video…she bumped up her fiasco to felony level charges. Which then led to her being suspended from her job as an employee of a Brevard County judge (Palm Bay/Titusvill region).
I’m not sure whether we should applaud her for trying to one-up her ‘Florida Man’ brethren making headlines every day, on the hand she’s a complete a$$hole who put innocent people in danger on the road…but on the other hand, her shenanigans are excellent for WTFlorida news. I guess it’s a bit of a coin flip on wether or not to salute her.
