This is what it looks like to ride down the world’s tallest waterslide, the Verruckt

The world’s tallest water slide, the Verruckt, drops down 169 feet of wedgie inducing terror. And it is officially open for business with the first ever ride, captured on camera by the ride’s designer.

We’ve heard rumblings of this slide for what seems like an eternity, news on it breaking the Guinness World Record as the tallest water slide, but now it’s officially open.

Why Kansas City was chosen to receive such a marvel of modern engineering is beyond me. Surely it would be put to better use in a state like Texas or Florida where the park could be open nearly year round, given park goers ample opportunity to injure themselves or suffer chlorine enemas.
