This might be the most sexist ad ever produced

The Goodyear Polyglas tire was introduced in 1967. It was perhaps not the best time to be a woman in America if we’re judging solely upon how unbelievably (and hilariously) sexist the ad for the tire is.

The rising crescendo of dangerous music as she gets behind the wheel might be the greatest thing I’ve ever seen in an ad. Combined with the induced delirium of how overwhelming it must be for a woman to drive? Instant classic. You’ve come a long way, ladies. (via Buzzfeed)
