In this (I think) old clip from Jeopardy, Alex Trebek takes an answer from a woman named Daria. It’s not the right answer so, naturally, Trebek laughs, “Hahahaha, no.” Strong move.
The bigger question: Why doesn’t he do this in EVERY episode of Jeopardy? Game shows are incredibly stale. But I would absolutely tune in if I knew that once per show, Alex Trebek would straight up embarrass someone for not knowing a question I’d never know in a million years. Tear others down to make me feel better, Trebek. It’s all I need. (Thanks for the tip, Gary)
