This is probably the stupidest way ever to kill a spider because it’ll cost someone $60K

No one likes bugs in their home but how about just a paper towel and a flush down the crapper?

A West Seattle man accidentally torched his rental house. He was trying to kill a spider with a lighter and a can of spray paint. He probably couldn’t reach his gun. The raging fire was eventually extinguished but the home suffered thousands of dollars’ worth of damage.

And to add insult to stupidity

The man told fire officials he was trying to get rid of a spider lurking in his laundry room — and inadvertently lit his wall on fire when he got creative with the spray paint and lighter. As the fire started spreading, he fled the house, leaving the spider — which may or may not still be alive — behind.

He might still be alive!

Watch the report and try not to laugh when the reporter says “a can of spray pants.”
