Police say Spanish man Jose Laparra paid a fortune teller $210,000 to devise a love spell that would help him win a former lover back into his arms.
Laparra, a former manager of a Spanish soccer club, did not get the results he wanted and allegedly decided to take action.
Police claim that Laparra broke into the female fortune teller’s home and attempted to reclaim the cash he spent on the bogus bit of magic.
During the break-in, Laparra suffered a panic attack and had to be rushed to a local hospital.
Both Laparra and four accomplices were charged in a conspiracy to commit the break-in.
Perhaps this is all an elaborate part of a plan for Laparra to win back his ex? No one said the love spell was instant. Love spells work in mysterious ways I presume with no empirical evidence at all to back it up.
