Girl Scouts banned from selling cookies near pot dispensaries but let’s just ban them from selling anywhere

Last week, a story made the rounds about an ingenious Girl Scout making a ton of money peddling her cookies outside a pot dispensary.

It was a smart business plan — sell a different kind of drugs to druggies. Well, she just got banned.

At first, the Girl Scouts were down for the idea but they’ve since changed their tune.

Marijuana is a legal substance, at least in Colorado, so the dispensaries are recognized as legitimate businesses, even by the Girl Scouts. However, the organization feels it is not an appropriate place for children to be selling cookies. Colorado troop leaders agree with the Girl Scouts Organization’s opinion. One scout leader, Katherine Kneeland, said, “I don’t think I would want my daughter to set up a booth in front of a dispensary.”

While we’re on the subject, let’s go ahead and ban the Girl Scouts from selling cookies outside any business because it’s pretty damn annoying. It’s also unfair. No other organization can sell their wares outside stores so what makes the Girl Scouts any different than the Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scout Scouts, Baseball Scouts, Dogs Named Scout, and wounded vets? No one should be allowed to stand outside a store or business and make you feel bad for not dropping $10 on a box of cookies.

“I already bought a box from my neighbor. I did. I swear! Why the hell are you looking at me like that? Is this your mom? I’m going to have to have sex with her now since you’re such a little turd. I’m going to be your new dad, eat all your cookies, and leave one dollar like I do in the honor box of snacks at work.”

Sorry, I’m a little on edge today. All these Girl Scouts were blocking the entrance to my pot dealer’s house.
