Classy Florida man in trouble after cannonball diving onto manatees

Ryan Waterman claims he had no clue it was illegal to bother a manatee. Sadly, it is, and his cannonball dive onto them was not a great idea.

In the video above, Waterman divebombs directly onto two manatees while his friends laugh in the background.

Tampa’s FOX affiliate says that if Waterman were to find himself convicted of animal cruelty towards the manatees, he would face up to 30 days in jail and a $500 fine.

A manatee biologist says that baby manatees run a high risk of suffering from stress, making Waterman’s actions an extra dick move.

I’m not sure when the manatees are planning their rebellion but, when they do, I sincerely hope they come for this guy first. Walruses, too. I imagine they’d stick together.
