Cell phones have become almost an extension of a person, one that they can not live without. Unfortunately for this family, their passion for a phone cost them the lives of two beloved individuals . We take you to Xinxiang city, Henan, China where a woman was relieving herself at an open-pit toilet when she dropped her $300 phone into the drink. Her husband jumped into the cesspool to try to find the valuable phone amongst all the waste. He is a much better husband that I am, I would not even put my precious hands in a small waste paper basket full of cotton candy and puppies if my wife’s phone fell in it. Soon after the man could not breathe and lost consciousness. Then the husband’s mother jumped in to save him but she passed out as well. The father-in-law asked neighbors for help, which caused a conga line of brave people who were getting knocked unconscious by a noxious gas of poo and piss. Rescuers had to come to the scene and threw a rope into the cesspool to pull six people out of the cesspit. Sadly the husband and mother-in-law died in hospital while the woman and a neighbor remained in the intensive care unit. Well that defecated quickly.
