Man arrested for trying to pay prostitute with food stamps

In a recent reverse prostitution sting on Daytona Beach officers ended up booking some interesting suspects, one who tried to pay the prostitute with food stamps and and another who had his kid in the car.

The man shown above, Michael Glitniak, reportedly tried to pay for the prostitute using food stamps, and even offered an additional $20 in food stamps if the prostitute would spend the entire night with him. Classy as f*ck.

This was Michael’s second charge in less than a month. On June 22nd he was booked for battery.

Of the seven men charged with solicitation of prostitution, another was Melvin Young Jr., 38, of Daytona Beach, who reportedly had his child with him, and whom is also charged with “possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana” (as reported by the Daytona Beach News-Journal).

I know it’s only Monday, but these charges lead me to believe that we’re in for quite a banner week when it’s comes to WTFlorida news. Maybe it’s the dog days of summer that leads to the spike in these mind-bogglingly weird crimes, but I truly anticipate more as the week goes on…
