If you don’t up the video quality, the trailer for Rambo: The Video Game looks like it was designed for Playstation 1 or maybe even Sega Dreamcast. Crank it up to 1080p, and the graphics look decent. The game takes you through scenes in First Blood, First Blood Part II and Rambo III. It doesn’t stick exactly to the story line, which is good because that would make playing First Blood pretty damn boring.
According to the fine folks of Wikipedia, “the mechanics of the game include stealth, demolition, and fighting off enemies using knives and guns using a cover system to avoid taking fire. The game also includes destructible terrain and rag-doll physics for animating characters.” That’s a whole lot more than you could do with Rambo in his original video game, Contra
