Watch this badass family cat save a boy from a vicious dog attack

Cats are man’s new best friend.

Roger Triantafilo posted a surveillance video on YouTube showing his son riding his bike in front of the family home in southwest Bakersfield. A neighbor’s dog approaches and attacks the boy for no reason.

Then, like he’s auditioning for a spot in The Avengers, Triantafilo’s family cat pounces from behind the shadows and jumps the dog. The dog backs away from the boy and then hightails it out of town.

This video would be awesome if it weren’t fake as hell. What’s with all the different camera angles? Why so many cameras? Where does this family live, Compton? It seems pretty safe since the boy is out riding his bike alone. And why do the cameras follow the dog’s every movement?

This is a Jimmy Kimmel bit. I’m calling it now.
