Christmas in October. I spent all morning listening to Dan Patrick talk about whether you'd rather hit a clutch walk-off homerun in October or date Kate Upton. Good show, DP. The strategically-placed cupcakes on Upton's SI photoshoot were a nice touch. Though I still think I'd take the glory of an October money shot, this post might make me reconsider. Terry Richardson just posted a bunch of new photo outtakes from his now-famous May GQ photoshoot with America's favorite dream girl. Because we're a relatively office-friendly website, we can't post our favorite ones (there's two), but we'll sure link to them (Note: not safe for work, dummy). HOWEVER, we have compiled a gallery of the ones that are safe enough for work for us.

In other Kate Upton news, Justin Verlander's grandfather seems pretty pumped that his grandson is dating The Most Viral Girl in the Universe™. Via: 

Verlander’s grandfather, Richard Verlander Sr., told Celebuzz: ”I heard he has been on dates with a Sports Illustrated girl. I saw a photo — she’s beautiful.

 

“They make a good looking pair because he’s a good looking man too,” said his proud granddad. I do know he’s on the dating scene. Justin is a fine boy and whoever he ends up with is lucky. He’s not only a great baseball player, he’s a great guy,” he gushed.
