Rhode Island's Olivia Culpo was crowned Miss USA last night by an illustrious judging panel of Joe Jonas, Rob Kardashian, Arsenio Hall and other bright names in the business.

Culpo is apparently a talented cellist who handled a tricky question about transgender contestants well (we admit we didn't actually watch the contest). She beat out Miss Maryland, Nana Meriwether, who is actually a graduate of Sidwell Friends (!) and is waaayy too smart to be on that stage.
