  • Before there was Brooklyn and Kate, Rebecca and Heidi, even Kathy, Elle, and Christie, there was Cheryl. Cheryl Tiegs was the first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover girl that every red-blooded man and boy in America fell in love with — not to mention enjoyed privately when his wife or mother wasn't around. She first appeared on the cover of the 1970 issue, before "making a splash" in Cancun in 1975, and "beating the heat" in Jamaica in 1983. (Think about that for a second: Kate Upton is the odds-on favorite for this year's cover, but what do you think her chances are in 2025?) So why do we suddenly care about Cheryl Tiegs? Because she's going to be a contestant on the new season of "Celebrity Apprentice." Yep, that's our news peg, but we'll take it if it means we can take a walk down hottie memory lane.

  • First Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover (1970)

  • Second Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover (1975)

  • Here's what Cheryl Tiegs looks like these days. Still hot! Hope she wins "Celebrity Apprentice."
