The woman you see above was The Rock’s date to the Oscars on Sunday. Her name is Lauren Hashian and she is Dwayne Johnson’s rarely-seen girlfriend. No real shock that The Rock has excellent taste in women, is there?
The Rock re-posted the photo above of himself and Lauren Hashian as they headed to the evening’s festivities with the caption, “Pizza and tequila. #Fly #Repost @laurenhashianofficial It’s #Oscars time!”
Further investigation tells us that Lauren Hashian is a singer. A singer with a bangin’ album cover on iTunes. Digging a little deeper we learn that The Rock and Hashian met while filming The Game Plan in 2006 and started dating in 2007. She rarely attends Hollywood function with The Rock, but I guess this being the Academy Awards she decided to tag along this time.
We also learned that her dad is “Sib” Hashian who played drums for the band Boston and her mom Suzanne was once a bunny at the Dallas Playboy Club. Looks like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree in Lauren’s case as she’s both musical and attractive.
