Keira Knightley Posed Topless For A Very Good Reason, Everybody

Back in late August I informed all of our readers that Keira Knightley had posed topless for Interview magazine, as is my duty. I didn’t question why she did it, though in the back of my mind I found it odd for several reasons. Apparently others, however, did question it because in a new interview with The Times Knightley felt the need to explain why she posed topless.

“I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters. That was one of the ones where I said, ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are.”

And here I just assumed Knightley posed topless because she wanted some attention since, you know, most of the world has no idea what the fuck she’s been doing since deciding she was too good for another Pirates of the Caribbean film. But hey, good for her, maybe now more magazines will stop trying to force us to suspend disbelief when we look at their photos of women from now on. Mmmm, yeah, probably not. Good try though.

Here are some non-nude shots from the pictorial. You know how to find the others
