Kate Upton Was Angry Terry Richardson Released Her Legendary Cat Daddy Video In 2012

Kate Upton doesn’t seem very happy now with all of the things that made her rich and famous. First, she complained about social media getting all up in her business, saying, “I feel like social media at this point is kind of bullshit.”

And now there’s an article in Vogue UK where Kate Upton says that the ULTRA-FAMOUS Cat Daddy video she shot for Terry Richardson that no heterosexual male on Earth has not seen was released without her approval.

Upton was horrified because the behind-the-scenes video had been filmed for fun, not something she expected would make the final cut. Did she stand up to Richardson when she discovered it had gone viral? “Yes, I did. I was like, ‘That was disrespectful, you could have told me!'” She couldn’t stay angry: the video helped to secure Upton’s global fame. “Now, obviously, it’s fine,” she says.

Helped? I’d say it helped. Still, sounds like a typical Terry Richardson move so I get her anger.

That being said, maybe Kate should take a look back at how she used social media and viral dancing videos back in the day, because last I checked she went from a few Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue covers to hawking annoying apps like Game of War. Perhaps another video like this wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. God knows everyone certainly would love it and she’d be the talk of the Internet once again.
