Bros, when there's Kate Upton news, we here at K.U.N.N. (the Kate Upton News Network) take pride in being the first to break it to you. Though Upton has dropped a lot of red-blooded male jaws over her scantily-clad bikini appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and elsewhere, the campaign shows somewhat of a trend. According to David Lipman, the ad man behind the pics, Upton won the contract because of her curves: “We chose Kate because she isn’t stick thin. She’s beautiful and all-American." She allegedly got the gig after being spotted wearing a pair of Sam Edelman boots, telling WWD “I’ve loved Sam Edelman shoes for a long time, so shooting the ad campaign was a lot of fun for me." The pics are fun for us too, Kate:
