Bros, when there's Kate Upton news, we here at K.U.N.N. (the Kate Upton News Network) take pride in being the first to break it to you. Kate Upton's emergence from the cocoon as a high brow fashion model is almost complete. As America prepares to drool over Upton's Mercedes Super Bowl commercial, we learn that haute couture shoe designer Sam Edelman recruited The Most Viral Girl In the World for a new digital and print advertising campaign.

Though Upton has dropped a lot of red-blooded male jaws over her scantily-clad bikini appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and elsewhere, the campaign shows somewhat of a trend. Back in November, Upton posed in sophisticated black and white pictorial for Vogue Italy. Now she's landed a big shoe contract. Is Upton moving beyond bikini snaps?
Damn, we hope not.
According to David Lipman, the ad man behind the pics, Upton won the contract because of her curves: “We chose Kate because she isn’t stick thin. She’s beautiful and all-American." She allegedly got the gig after being spotted wearing a pair of Sam Edelman boots, telling WWD “I’ve loved Sam Edelman shoes for a long time, so shooting the ad campaign was a lot of fun for me." The pics are fun for us too, Kate:

See, weren't those photos classy? Don't you want to pour a fine $13 dollar bottle of cabernet sauvignon and listen to soft jazz piano covers of popular rock-pop songs? Sure you do, because that's what classy, sophisticated people who admire black-and-white photographs of Kate Upton do:
