Kate Upton ‘Felt Terrible’ After Her First Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue Cover

“After my first Sports Illustrated cover, I felt terrible about myself for a solid month,” she confessed. “Every single guy I met was either married or about to be married, and I felt like I was their bachelor present or something. I'm not a toy, I'm a human. I'm not here to be used. I am a grown woman, and you need to figure your s–t out.”

I don't think it's that hard to see why she's dissing guys here. People lost their minds over Kate Upton after her first SI Swimsuit Issue cover. She became the Most Viral Girls in the World pretty quickly, arguably the first true super-supermodel of the Facebook/Twitter era. Things get weird quickly when that's the case. For example, Upton was getting mobbed in airports by creepy dudes, all because she posed provocatively for a magazine. Everyone and anyone was asking her for something — going to a prom, a fraternity formal, a military ball — which kind of continues to be the case. In Upton's defense, no one person can accomodate such a barrage of requests while maintaining any sort of professional — or even personal — life.

Bros… When Kate Upon speaks, you listen: She wants you to be a MAN, not some pathetic drooling slob. Get your shit together.

And with that, a GIF:
