If you’re one of the millions convinced you saw Jennifer Lopez have a very public wardrobe malfunction last night during the Academy Awards, you’re wrong. A stylist for the “American Idol” judge told Entertainment Weekly that there was zero chance of a mistake that would have resulted in a Janet Jackson-like reveal.

In fact, she says the gown featured special built-in cups that made such a slip impossible.

“While the dress did give the illusion of sheer-ness, jokes on everyone who wishes they saw something,” Mariel Haenn said.

OK, you don’t have to be a jerk about it, Mariel. In real time, it certainly seemed like I was seeing something. And I certainly wasn’t alone. The Twitter account @JLosN*pple was created and amassed over 2,000 followers before the show’s end.

But, apparently, we only were seeing what we wanted to see.

I guess the only thing to do now is review the tape a couple hundred more times.
