Let’s be real: Glee is a stupid fucking show. The first few episodes started out as satirizing the concept of a “stereotypical” high school experience, which was amusing, but then it quickly reverted to “Let’s sing Top 40 songs about DIVERSITY and LOVE.” It’s basically a sing-along television show for adults, and by “adults” I mean “high school kids that wish their lives were as skippy dippy as this bullshit.”
