BiBi Jones once was lost, but now she's found.

On July 17, the porn star made headlines by posting a teary video to Facebook announcing her retirement from the adult film business. She quickly switched her Twitter account back to her real name, Britney Maclin. Fans were baffled as to why one of the industry's most popular starlets was bowing out at the age of 20, pretty much at the very top of the porn industry's game. The year before, Jones became the youngest star to sign a contract deal with Digital Playground, where she aspired to become the "Taylor Swift of porn." In October 2011, she became a household name when she posted suggestive photos on Twitter of her hanging out with New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski. Those photos caused a shitstorm with Robert Kraft, but also gave birth to Gronk's now storied legacy as the hardest-partying Bro in the NFL.

Six months later, BiBi is back.

It turns out BiBi's retirement from porn was more of a hiatus. I ask her about why she quit. She quietly offers a simple answer: “I got lost in a lot of stuff.”  

I move on to the subject du jour, the possibility of a porn staring Bibi and Gronk.“It’s flattering to know that they’re offering someone over $3 mil to fuck me,” she says. Digital Playground is offering Gronk $3.75 million to have sex with Bibi in front of a camera, thus matching Gronk's 2014 base salary. Would she be into it? "Fuck yeah!" she announces with gusto.

Below is my conversation with Bibi Jones, in which we discuss why she quit the biz, her comeback, why she feels bad for Gronk, and sex tips every guy should know.

BroBible: Let’s talk about why you left porn a few months ago. Why did quit? What led up to it and why did you want to walk away?

Bibi Jones: The main reason was because I was not thinking clearly. I didn’t know what I wanted. I just needed to take some “me” time to figure out what I wanted from life. I was so lost and I was hanging out with the wrong people. I just needed to clean my life out. And now I’m thinking clearly and I have my head one straight. Now I’ve decided that porn is really what I want.

So what did you do during you hiatus?

I got a real job. I still have it right now. I do marketing and sales for a restoration company. I’m still doing it. It helps keep me grounded, you know?

I’m sure it helps just to get around “normal” day-to-day people and have a routine.

Oh yeah. I don’t go out as much. I don’t party as much. It’s healthier for me. It’s a healthier lifestyle. It helps fill my time. Before I would only do one or two movies a month, so I’d have all this free time. I got lost in a lot of stuff.

So, you don’t have to go too far into details, but what kind of stuff?

Eh… Well. You know. I don’t know if officially I can say that.

Is that why you were drawn to Digital Playground to be a contract star?

No, it was because Jesse Jane and I are from the same town in Oklahoma.  I always really looked up to her and idolized her. She’s amazing. She’s probably the biggest name in the industry right now. Just the fact that we’re from the same hometown and we know a lot of the same people, that was kind of a deciding factor.

When you were away from porn, why did you decide you wanted to come back? What did you miss?

Well, I missed everyone. I missed all the girls. I missed my director. I missed my camera guy. I missed my publicist and everything. Honestly, I missed the attention. It’s so much fun. It’s such a fun lifestyle and you don’t get it for very long.  Porn doesn’t last forever. You have a short time to do it. I don’t want to waste any time.

Let’s talk "Code of Honor." Obviously it’s a big-budget skin flick. What can fans expect?

It’s sick. The sex was amazing and it has the hottest girls. There were guns and helicopters. It’s going to be a really good movie. I play this FBI agent and there’s this huge orgy at the end. It’s going to be a really good movie. It comes out next week.

You worked on it over the summer, right? Was cool to do a movie that wasn’t just sex, but involved acting as well?

I’m contracted with Digital Playground and all of our movies have acting in it. Every movie that I do, I probably get anywhere from 12 – 24 pages of dialogue. I think people probably have the misconception that all pornos are just fucking.  I act a lot. I’m not a very good actress, but I act.

Today you started to make headlines for coming back. There’s also the rumor that Digital Playground is offering Rob Gronkowski $3.75M to do a scene with you. Talk a little bit about that. What’s your reaction?

I woke up this morning and I found out on Twitter. I was like, “What the fuck is going on? What are people talking about?” and then I read this article. I think it’s kind of funny because Rob is never going to do that. It’s flattering to know that they’re offering someone over $3 mil to fuck me. I mean, that’s kinda cool, right?

So you don’t think he would do it. But if he did, would you be excited about the possibility?

Fuck yeah! That’d be so awesome. I’d love to do that. But…. It’s not going to happen.

You gained a lot of notoriety last year for hanging out with Gronk. He kind of has this party boy lifestyle that Bros really love about him.

That whole thing was totally blown out of proportion. It was over a year ago and it was a simple picture. People just took it and ran with it. I mean, it was awesome for me. I gained a lot of fans from it. I feel a little bad for him, but whatever.

Why do you feel bad for him?

Um. I feel bad because he had to apologize to the NFL. It probably wasn’t a very good look for him because pornstars get this stereotype as these horrible people…

How does that make you feel?

It makes me feel really shitty. I mean, I’ve gotten to the point now that I just let everything roll off my back, because if I didn’t, I would be a mess every single day. I can get 100 comments that are positive and then I can get one negative one and… It hurts. It does. But I can’t let it get to me or I wouldn’t be able to be in this industry. If it makes people feel better to knock someone down, whatever. Good for them I guess. It’s all from the stereotyping we get. It sucks.

That’s awful. Going back to Rob, if you will. He got injured at the end of this year, but he still parties a lot. What’s he like to be with?

Yeah. He’s obsessed with the music group LMAFO, the Party Rock from like a year ago. He’s still is constantly doing the Party Rock. He loves to party. He loves Vegas. He just let’s lose He’s fun, yeah. But I don’t think that’s the best for his career. Too much partying is never good. It’s good to party and have fun, but he has an amazing talent and not a lot of people have a chance to be in the NFL. He’s the highest paid tight end – don’t lose it.

Are you guys still close?

Um. Ehhh… No. We’re not close.

So you don’t text each other frequently?

No.

You’re really into sports, right?

Oh yeah, big sports fan.

What are your teams?

I’m a massive Oklahoma City Thunder fan. I’m going to see them on Sunday night play the Suns. I’m really excited for that. That’s our first professional team. But, as weird as this is, baseball is my favorite sports and the Yankees are my favorite team. You’re going to call me a bandwagon fan, I know, I know, I know…

But you live in Arizona… It’s not right for you to be a Yankees fan…

I know, right? When I first moved to Arizona, I dated someone for a really long time who was from New York City, born and raised. He watched the Yankees play every single day. He was obsessed. So I was kind of forced to be a Yankee fan, but then I ended up loving it. I know all of the history and all of the players. I’m a massive Brett Gardner fan. I have the biggest crush on him. I love, love, love Brett Gardner.
