An Australian bar used naked women as fruit platters at a launch party in Sydney, and of course people were offended. On Wednesday night, the Cruise Bar in Darling Harbour hired attractive women to become the provocative centerpieces for a party.
The lovely ladies did wear skin-colored underpants, as their bosoms were covered with leaves and fruit.
Beautiful women, who voluntarily applied for this position, were paid money to wow the guests, but it may have worked too well. These are the same women who are nearly naked as they model clothes at fashion shows, but instead of apparel these women enhance the appearance of cherries and cantaloupes. There was even a chocolate fountain so you know it’s a classy shindig.
However some people didn’t see the beauty in the sultry display or the benefit to the environment. Not only is this appealing to the eyes, but think about how good for the eco-friendly this is. No paper, plastic or styrofoam plates get put in the trash to ruin our planet. Or if they did use dishes, there is no water being used to wash every plate. Seems like these people don’t care about our environment.

Jane Oakley, who is the secretary of the Greens political party in New South Wales, detested the centerpieces. She wrote on the Cruise Bar’s Facebook page, “Thanks Cruise Bar for so openly showing your contempt for women and contributing to the disgusting view that women’s bodies are just a utensil. I won’t be coming to your venue when I’m looking for a night out.”

Some women found the erotic display to be sexist because there was no men naked, but there were male models dressed in only their tight banana hammocks. But no one wants to see some guy’s dong right next to the cucumbers. And you know the guy is going to get excited at some point and the tray is going to go tumbling to the ground and all of the food will be wasted. Plus what if he spews his man tzatziki all over the vegetable platter? That’s definitely a health violation.
