What happens when you drive a powerful rear drive car on wet sand? That's what Jeremy Clarkson and the Top Gear gang went to test at Pendine Sands, the UK's legendary hard-sand beach on the shores of Carmarthen Bay in south Wales. In one of the most unique driving enviroments in the world, they pitted a BMW 645Ci, a Jaguar XKR, and Porsche 911 against each other in a drag race on the soggy beach. Not to ruin anything for anyone, but the Germans didn't even stand a chance. Next up, I want to see the Top Gear guys try to get a Land Rover, a LandCruiser, and a G-Wagen out of a quicksand pit filled with snakes, just for the hell of it. If anyone can pull it off, they can.
