Son of a bitch, do I hate looking at these shoes more than anything -- I mean, who wants to wear partial high-tops with golf shorts? -- but I'm beginning to think the comfort level could be worth walking around like a stooge when I play golf. It's certainly seems to be worth if for Tiger. And in this video, he and Nike's innovation director, Tobie Hatfield, make a compelling argument for them as they discuss how the TW' 13's perform and why they are unlike any other golf shoe currently on the market.

Side note: Anyone else notice how Tiger never wears the black version of this shoe, even when his Sunday outfit calls for it? I saw him wear them once a few months back but you could barely notice they were different from a conventional shoe. Is it possible that Nike's forcing him to only wear the white versions in tournaments for better visibility to the customer since the design is so out-of-the-box (to keep the terms kind)? I'm curious to see what happens after they're released, I'm willing to bet he switches. And yes, I think about some retarded sh*t from time to time.
