Just in time for the New York Auto Show, pver the weekend BMW revealed pics of its third concept, the i8 Concept Spyder. Though it seems like the BMW "i" series is still a few years away from production models, this concept seems to take us one step future to a world of neon vehicles that look like something out of TRON. Still, the i8 Concept Spyder is a breathtaking piece of Eco-friendly automotive engineering, boasting a 223 hp three-cylinder gas engine at the rear and a 131 hp electric motor at the front. BMW claims it's capable of 78 miles per gallon yet still boasts a 0-62 in five seconds and a top speed governed at 155 mph.
