  • Nike's newest footwear innovation will turn heads at this summer's Olympic Games in London. Dubbed "Flyknit," the ultra-lightweight shoes rely on yarn, cable and fabric that resembles a sock. The aim is to keep the running shoe as light as possible, which, you know, helps one run faster. The results of a four-year project were unveiled yesterday and will be worn by Olympic athletes from the United States, Kenya, Russia and the United Kingdom. They'll be available to the layperson for a couple weeks in New York, Tokyo and London.
