Today, Nike and Kevin Duran unveiled the new KD8 and they feature a whole heap of new technology that you probably don’t give a shit about. “Are they sexy?” is probably the only question you want an answer to. But in case you’re buying shoes for the benefit of your game and not how hot they look on your feet, here’s what Nike had to say about the new features:
The shoe is the most innovative of Durant’s career featuring two first-time technologies for Nike Basketball: Flyweave and articulated full-length Zoom Air. Also please be sure to check out the sabertooth-inspired heel counter. The sabertooth is a legendary big cat that Durant adopted in the form of a tattoo above his right ankle. He connected with the ice age cat’s unique predatory instincts, ferocity and prehistoric old soul.
