For the last few weeks I've been on a massive Bioshock Infinite binge. I'm a relatively new gamer (...just received an XBox 360 this past Christmas), but the storyline with former Pinkerton Booker DeWitt and the attention to detail in the game blows my mind. Hence, me taking three weeks to work my way through one of the most intricate video storylines ever created. See, I enjoy taking time, opening random doors to further emerse myself even in the surreal, fantasy skyworld of Columbia.
Back in January we told you about IllumiRoom, Microsoft's new projection device that uses a "Xbox Kinect for Windows camera and a projector to blur the lines between on-screen content and the environment we live in... changing the appearance of the room, inducing apparent motion, extending the field of view, and enabling entirely new game experiences." A new video of the projector hit the Internet this week and it makes me even more excited to test this thing out with Bioshock Infinite. I'm imagining the clouds and turn-of-the-century architecture of Columbia all the walls and ceiling of my tiny NYC apartment.
I can't freakin' wait.
