You’d think when you buy a Bugatti, you simply pay your $2.5 million (or however the hell much it costs), drive it off the lot and then cause the car to lose 20% of its value, then proudly gloat to everyone about how you’re the proud owner of the ultimate douche car. But nope! There are still costs with ownership after the fact, just like there are with any car. This Bugatti enthusiast has a pretty good breakdown of the two most eye-shattering ones, BESIDES insurance, which has to be a couple hundred grand.
-$30,000 for new tires. If you want to replace them over three times, you need to replace the rims for $120,000 because the wheels are glued to the rim.
-$20,000 for an oil change through the Bugatti maintenance.
I’ll just stick to something completely unsexy yet pragmatic, like a custom Chevy Van shaggin’ wagon.
