It takes a lot to scare us in this day and age. The upcoming movie “V/H/S” just may accomplish that difficult goal. The trailer alone gives us chills.

The plot, via IMDB:

When a group of misfits is hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a desolate house and acquire a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for.

Well, it wouldn’t be a movie if the characters got exactly the amount they bargained for. That’d be downright boring.

“V/H/S” will begin haunting dreams nationwide when it arrives in theaters October 5.
