The Coen Brothers are responsible for "Fargo," "The Big Lebowski," "No Country for Old Men," "O Brother Where Art Thou?" and around five other movies that I could reel off, but won't because I'm already starting to sound like a pretentious asshat. The bottom line is they're probably the two best filmmakers alive today, they also happen to be brothers, and somewhere a 49ers fan and a Ravens fan are both about to say, "Hey that sounds like!..."
Their new flick is called "Inside Llewyn Davis," and it looks to be one of their more personal movies (a road they went down with moderate success in "A Serious Man") rather than something more crowd-pleasing like "Lebowski" and "True Grit." The synopsis doesn't give much away, other than saying that it's a journey into the folk scene in Greenwich Village in the 1960s. Oscar Isaac stars as the title character, and Justin Timberlake and John Goodman co-star.
